Tragedy Strikes as Balcony Collapse Claims Life in Ghaziabad

In Ghaziabad's Shalimar Garden, a balcony collapse led to the death of a vegetable vendor, Saleem, and severely injured his associate, Ayyub. The incident prompted immediate police and fire brigade response, ensuring traffic normalization. Saleem was declared dead at the hospital, while Ayyub is still receiving treatment.

A third-floor balcony tragedy occurred in Ghaziabad's Shalimar Garden Colony, claiming the life of Saleem, a vegetable vendor, and critically injuring his associate, Ayyub. The catastrophic collapse happened on Thursday in the Trans-Hindan area.

Both men suffered life-threatening injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals. Saleem, aged 60, was pronounced dead on arrival at the District Government Hospital. Ayyub, also 60, was moved to a Delhi facility, where he remains under medical care.

Swift action followed from local authorities, including Shalimar Garden police and fire services. Their efforts ensured the removal of debris and the restoration of normal traffic conditions in the area.
