Trench Tragedy in Morena: Telecom Cable Dig Turns Fatal

A fatal accident in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district resulted in the death of one labourer and injuries to four others as a trench collapsed during the installation of a telecom cable. The victim, Kallu Singh, succumbed to his injuries, while others were rescued by police and villagers.

A tragic incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district where a labourer died and four others were injured after a trench collapsed during telecom cable installation, police reported.

The mishap occurred in Jaderua village near the Chambal water project site under the Nurabad police jurisdiction, as a group was digging to lay the cable.

Despite swift rescue efforts by police and villagers, 40-year-old Kallu Singh succumbed to his injuries. According to Dr Krishna Yadav, three other workers sustained fractures and chest and jaw injuries.
