SAD leader Parambans Singh Romana has leveled accusations against dissident Akali leader Manpreet Singh Ayali, claiming a covert agreement with the ruling AAP. Romana alleges this so-called "settlement" helped Ayali's land escape inclusion in Punjab's contentious land pooling policy, a charge roundly denied by Ayali and the Dakha MLA.

The policy, criticized as a "looting" scheme by opposition parties, is under fire for allegedly targeting farmers' fertile lands. According to Romana, Ayali's silence on the policy speaks volumes, hinting at AAP government favor for excluding Ayali's land while including land from neighboring less fortunate farmers.

Despite these allegations, Ayali countered by asserting that the policy did indeed include over 150 acres of his land. He maintained his opposition to the measure, echoing concerns of many farmers. Meanwhile, the Punjab government defends its scheme as a necessity for planned urban development, promising fair exchanges for acquired land.
