Tragedy in Sheopur: Uncle and Nephew Drown in Flash Flood

In Sheopur district, Madhya Pradesh, a man and his nephew tragically drowned in a flash flood while attempting to rescue each other. Their bodies were discovered in an embrace after search efforts had failed the previous night. The flood was caused by intense rains, causing the Parvati river to overflow.

In a heart-wrenching tragedy unfolding in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur district, a 50-year-old man and his teenage nephew drowned after being caught in a sudden flash flood on Wednesday.

The duo, Rajendra Yadav and his nephew Shivam, were discovered embracing each other after the Parvati river's swollen waters receded on Thursday morning, police reported.

Efforts by family and villagers to find them overnight proved futile as the rising waters prevented any successful search. The local police stated they were moving irrigation equipment out of the river's path when disaster struck.
