In a major development spree, the Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is poised to unveil a series of infrastructural and welfare projects coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday on Wednesday. These initiatives, aligned with a 'Sewa Pakhwada' campaign running from September 19 to October 2, aim to foster city-wide improvements.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to introduce 15 groundbreaking projects, including hospital blocks, policing drones, and waste-to-energy plants, at Thyagraj Stadium. Celebrations will feature a blood donation camp and an exhibition on the Centre's developmental strides in Delhi at Kartavya Path starting 7 am.
The extensive project roster includes much-anticipated ventures like the Delhi Drainage Master Plan and various sanitation and education improvements. High-profile cultural events, notably 'Mera Desh Pahle-The Untold Story of Shri Narendra Modi,' will highlight the festive fortnight, reflecting on PM Modi's transformative impact.
