Highlighting recent natural calamities, Bhagwat pointed out the visible adverse effects of current lifestyles, such as inconsistent rainfall, increased landslides, and shrinking glaciers over the past few years.

The Himalayas, as Bhagwat noted, serve as a vital protective barrier and water source for Southeast Asia, stressing the critical need for sustainable development practices.
