Delhi's Air Quality: From 'Very Poor' to 'Poor'
Delhi's air quality index has improved from 'very poor' to 'poor,' dropping from 305 to 268 in a day, despite some areas still recording poor categories. The temperature was notably cooler than the season's average, with high humidity levels observed.

Delhi's air quality marked an improvement on Sunday, transitioning from 'very poor' to a 'poor' bracket, as recorded by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 268, down from 305 the previous day.
Out of the city's monitoring stations, 33 reported levels in the 'poor' category while five still lingered in 'very poor'. The CPCB classifies air quality on a scale where 0-50 is 'good' and 401-500 'severe'.
Meanwhile, the weather presented an unusual chill with temperatures dipping to 8.3 degrees Celsius, two degrees below the average, and humidity at 97% in the morning, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The maximum temperature for the day is estimated to reach 25 degrees Celsius with partly cloudy skies.
