The Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) quickly intervened, rescuing the reptile and handing it over to the forest department amidst rising concerns about illegal pet trade.

Authorities are investigating the incident, suspecting the snake to be a lost or abandoned illegal pet, while plans for its rehabilitation are being discussed with wildlife experts.
