Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has pressed for the swift approval of projects currently awaiting clearance from the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region (DoNER), according to a statement released on Friday.
During a recent meeting with DoNER Secretary Chanchal Kumar in Aizawl, Lalduhoma pointed out the importance of accelerating and simplifying the approval procedures to ensure timely project implementation. Delays were noted as a hindrance to development progress.
Secretary Kumar praised the state's newly inaugurated ginger processing unit, emphasizing its role in supporting local farmers' livelihoods. He also reviewed ongoing projects including a cultural heritage center and potential infrastructure sites, showcasing the commitment to enhancing regional development.
