Farmer Fends Off Leopard Attack with Axe in Rajasthan

A dramatic encounter unfolded in Rajasthan's Kotputli-Behror district, where a farmer fought off a leopard attack. The farmer, identified as Shravan Gurjar, was collecting fodder in his fields when he was unexpectedly attacked by a leopard cub.
In a desperate attempt to save himself, Gurjar defended himself with an axe, fatally injuring the animal. Gurjar, who sustained serious injuries from the attack, is currently receiving care at a government hospital in Alwar.
According to Forester Manoj Naga, the leopard's carcass has been taken for further investigation. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident to ensure proper measures are followed.
