Massive Fire Erupts in Thane District, Injuring Five and Destroying 40 Two-Wheelers

A fire erupted in the basement of a residential building in Maharashtra's Thane district, injuring five individuals, according to civic officials. The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the Sagaon area of Dombivli town.
Among the injured, a woman suffered burn injuries and a man sustained injuries after jumping from the first floor. Three others faced minor injuries, all of whom are now receiving treatment at a hospital, officials confirmed.
The fire also gutted 40 two-wheelers parked in the building's basement. Two fire engines responded promptly and managed to extinguish the blaze within an hour. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
