The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced a temporary water supply disruption across several areas of the capital, resulting from its annual maintenance operation. This essential flushing of underground reservoirs and booster stations will take place on Tuesday, impacting regions like Siraspur, Samaypur, and parts of Rohini, among others.

In a public statement, the DJB urged residents to prepare for the disruption by storing adequate water to meet their needs. It specified areas including Gorakh Park, Kabir Nagar, Shivaji Park, and others in north-west and north-east Delhi as being potentially affected by this interruption.

For emergency water requirements, DJB assured residents of tanker availability from various control points including Shastri Park and Seelampur. Moreover, citizens are encouraged to contact the DJB central control room at 1916 for assistance, ensuring efficient coordination during this period.
