Tragic Fire Claims Nine Lives in Palam Residential Building

Nine members of a family perished in a tragic fire that engulfed a multi-storey residential building in southwest Delhi's Palam area early Wednesday morning, according to officials.

The fire, which started on the first floor and spread rapidly due to flammable beauty products, posed a dangerous challenge for emergency responders. Three additional individuals were injured in their desperate attempts to flee the flames.

Emergency services, including 30 fire tenders and 11 ambulances, responded to the scene to conduct a massive rescue operation. The fire was extinguished by the afternoon, and investigations into the exact cause continue, with a forensic team at the site.
