In a pointed critique of the Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared a triumph over what he called the state's 'politics of garbage'. Launching eco-friendly waste management vehicles in Lucknow, Adityanath credited the 'double-engine government' for raising cleanliness standards across the state.
The Chief Minister flagged off a fleet of 250 electric and CNG-run vehicles to bolster solid waste management, emphasizing that such advancements were previously unthinkable under past regimes marred by inefficiency and corruption. Under his administration, Lucknow has climbed into the top three of urban cleanliness rankings nationally.
Adityanath hailed infrastructural upgrades like widespread LED streetlight installations and metro expansions, noting that these measures have improved security and urban aesthetics. Highlighting renewable energy projects, he stated that Uttar Pradesh is turning into an electric vehicle manufacturing hub and praised public health victories over disease through enhanced sanitation efforts.
