ANRF CEO Shivkumar Kalyanaraman's Vision for Transformative Scientific Research

On Friday, Shivkumar Kalyanaraman, CEO of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), visited the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research–National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR–NIIST). He assured that funding would be ample for projects demonstrating substantial societal and national impact.

Kalyanaraman interacted with the scientists, highlighting ANRF's commitment to fostering impactful research. Emphasizing a focus on large-scale implementations, he encouraged ambitious, outcome-driven proposals, stressing that ANRF stands ready to support such endeavors with necessary resources.

The visit underscored ANRF's role as a keystone in transforming India's research landscape. Director of CSIR–NIIST, Dr. C Anandharamakrishnan, emphasized the potential for collaborative, mission-oriented research opened up by Kalyanaraman's visit, further committing to addressing national priorities through innovation.
