A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon in an open ground in Bhandarli village, Navi Mumbai, according to local officials. The incident, which resulted in no casualties, involved scrap materials igniting around 2.40 PM.

Fire teams from Airoli, Koparkhairane, and Nerul, along with water browsers and engines from the Thane Municipal Corporation, quickly responded to contain the blaze.

While no injuries were reported, authorities are actively working to extinguish the fire and are investigating the cause of the outbreak.
