A 26-year-old woman was injured after decorative plaster fell on her in a residential building in Maharashtra's Thane city on Saturday, an official said. The incident occurred around 3 pm at the seven-storey Zikra Mahal, located in the Mumbra area, said Yasin Tadvi, chief of the Regional Disaster Management Cell of the Thane civic body. Tadvi said local corporator Raju Ansari alerted them about the accident, following which firefighters rushed to the spot. ''Decorative plaster from the building fell on the ground floor area, injuring a woman, identified as Ayesha Shabbir Ali Khan,'' Tadvi said. He said Khan suffered a head injury and was taken to a nearby hospital. Further details regarding the condition of the structure are awaited, he said.
