Mutilated body parts were found inside two suitcases on the banks of Durgawati River in Bihars Kaimur district, police said on Sunday. Kaimur SP Hari Mohan Shukla said police received information that body parts had been found under a bridge.

Mutilated body parts were found inside two suitcases on the banks of Durgawati River in Bihar's Kaimur district, police said on Sunday. The suitcases were found under a bridge located between Mohania and Ramgarh police station areas of the district. Kaimur SP Hari Mohan Shukla said police received information that body parts had been found under a bridge. ''We received information from villagers that mutilated body parts were found under a bridge over Durgawati river here,'' Shukla told PTI. Police, along with a forensic team, reached the spot and recovered the remains, which have been sent for examination, he said. ''Currently, there is no missing person report in Kaimur district. We have informed bordering districts about the incident,'' Shukla said. Police are making efforts to identify the deceased, the SP added.
