Tragic Tree Fall: Construction Site Mishap Leaves Two Injured in Mumbai

In a shocking incident near Khar, Mumbai, a tree from a construction site fell onto an auto-rickshaw, severely injuring two young women. The police reported that the incident happened on Sunday evening, resulting in severe head and spine injuries to Aarika Shrivastava, 15, and Harshita Kumar, 21.
The Khar police have registered an FIR against Bluestone, the company managing the construction site. Allegations include negligence and endangering life and safety. The duo is under critical care in a leading private hospital as per the latest updates.
Footage from the site shows the tree collapsing through the safety barriers before hitting the rickshaw. Rescue operations included removing the fallen tree parts. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, following a complaint by Aarika's sister, Manasvi Shrivastava, who escaped unharmed.
