A severe storm swept through the Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving at least seven people injured, according to local officials.

The storm, which struck on Thursday night, also resulted in the loss of 23 animals and caused partial damage to 45 houses, as reported by the district disaster management authority. Efforts are underway to assist the affected families, with financial relief proposed at over Rs 12.88 lakh.

District authorities have been actively involved in assessing the damage and coordinating relief operations in both rural and urban areas. Measures have been put in place to restore electricity and ensure uninterrupted emergency services across the region.
