Ukraine and Lithuania Seal LNG Supply Deal

Ukraine and Lithuania have finalized an agreement for long-term LNG supply through Klaipeda port. Ukraine's Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrydenko, announced the deal during a visit to Lithuania. In exchange, Ukraine has proposed offering its underground gas storage facilities to Lithuania.

Ukraine and Lithuania have solidified a significant agreement to secure a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply via Klaipeda port, marking a strategic cooperative step.

This announcement came from Ukraine's Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrydenko, during a joint press conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene. The leaders highlighted the mutual benefits of the arrangement.

During the conference, Svyrydenko revealed that Ukraine has offered its extensive underground gas storage facilities as part of the agreement, showcasing the synergistic potential between the two countries.
