The Arizona Coyotes named Lowell Heit as their chief financial officer on Thursday. The announcement comes just three days after the Coyotes named Xavier A. Gutierrez as their new president, CEO and alternate governor.

"We are thrilled to announce Lowell as the Coyotes new chief financial officer," Gutierrez said. "Lowell brings a wealth of team and league financial experience to our organization and he will play a key role for us in the future growth of our club. Lowell will be a great addition to our talented executive team." Prior to joining the Coyotes, Heit served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sunrise Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the Florida Panthers and BB&T Center. He was also a partner at Genesis Management Group.
