Soccer-Fernando Gago named coach of Argentine club Aldosivi

Former Real Madrid and Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago was appointed coach of Argentine club Aldosivi on Saturday. Gago retired from football two months ago after a series of serious injuries and will take up his first managerial role at the Mar del Plata club.

The 34-year old also enjoyed playing spells at AS Roma, Valencia and Velez Sarsfield and played for Argentina at the 2014 World Cup, as well as at three Copa America tournaments.
