Three-time Pro Bowl linebacker C.J. Mosley, an integral player in Baltimore's defense, left the Ravens' Thursday night game early in the first quarter in Cincinnati due to a bone bruise on his left knee, the team announced in the second quarter.

He was listed as doubtful to return to the contest.

Mosley was hurt when he landed awkwardly after jumping to avoid stepping on Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd. Mosley limped off the field and was later carted to the locker room.

Mosley recorded 132 tackles, two interceptions, and a sack last season. The fifth-year player began the night with 479 career tackles, eight interceptions and one touchdown.

The 26-year-old Mosley is in the final season of his rookie contract, which covered four years and averaged about $2.2 million per season.

The Ravens took Mosley in the first round, 17th overall, in the 2014 draft.
