Atletico Madrid held its final training session on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Belgium's Club Brugge, but without Spanish winger Victor "Vitolo" Machin or Montenegrin defender Stefan Savic, both still recovering from injuries.
Head coach Diego Pablo Simeone led the session with forwards Antoine Griezmann of France and Diego Costa of Brazil, among others, reports Efe news.
Atletico released a statement on Monday confirming that Vitolo's sprained knee, sustained on August 20 against Valencia, will keep him sidelined for Wednesday's Champions League home game against Brugge, as well as Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Betis.
Savic is recovering from a severe muscle injury he sustained on Sept. 10 while playing for Montenegro in the UEFA Nations League.
