The cricket experts believe Australian cricket is in a mess both on and off the field. Hence, this is a big opportunity for India to pick up the advantage of winning the battle. Even the former Australian cricketers, Jason Gillespie said in a conversation to TOI recently that "this is India's best chance to win their maiden Test series Down Under." He also went ahead saying "Australia haven't been at their very best as there has been a lot going on at the moment, and the team is missing a few key players at the moment." He also extolled India's present performance under the leadership of Virat Kohli.

So far, the opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shikar Dhawan has been wonderful for India in T20s. Both the players were at the top of their game accumulating strong statistical figures in the earlier three matches in T20 series against West Indies. It was a big moment for the cricket lovers when Sharma scored a century in one of the matches.

On the other hand, while KL Rahul was seen playing marvelously in the Indian Premier League for Kings XI Punjab, he is yet to showcase his similar magical performance in the ongoing T20 series. Overall, India gets to ball first and compelled to chase a large number, the experts believe keeping Dinesh Karthik in the attack will be a better alternative team India.

As far as Australia's performance is concerned, India Today reminds that the team is yet to win a T20I series against an opponent team since the ban of Cameron Bancroft, David Warner and Steve Smith. The team lost to Pakistan in the T20I tri-series final in Zimbabwe, lost to England in a one-off game in June, and then lost to South Africa by 21 runs in on Saturday (November 17). Hence, this is going to be a big start for India to identify its opponent's flaws and accordingly showcase its brilliant performance.
