Mary Kom beats Hanna Okhota in 48 kg light flyweight class to win gold in Women's World Boxing Championships. The 35-year old Olympic boxer last won a gold at the 2010 Asian Women's World Championships in Kazakhstan.
Mary Kom says 'Thank You' to fans and followers after winning her 6th gold. She has become the only female pugilist to win 6 world titles. She has showcased her robust defensive skills, counter-attacked with vigor and brought a storm into the final.
"I want to that the fans who turned up today to cheer me and the Indian contingent. They have been supporting me for the last many years," Mary Kom said while becoming emotional.
