Evan Bouchard scored in overtime to give visiting Edmonton a 2-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, as the Oilers set a franchise record with their 10th consecutive victory. With Montreal's Mike Matheson in the penalty box for a high-sticking infraction called early in the extra period, Bouchard unloaded a point-shot blast that found the mark at 2:01 for his 10th goal of the season.

Bucks overpower Curry-less Warriors, 129-118

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton combined for 84 points, and the well-rested Milwaukee Bucks overpowered the short-handed Golden State Warriors late for a 129-118 victory Saturday night in Wisconsin. Antetokounmpo led the way with a game-high 33 points. Lillard had 27 and Middleton 24 as part of a double-double with a game-high 10 assists for the Bucks, whose only game since Monday was a 33-point breeze over the visiting Boston Celtics.

Kraken top Jackets for franchise-record 9th straight win

Jared McCann scored two goals and added an assist as the Seattle Kraken defeated the host Columbus Blue Jackets 7-4 on Saturday night. Oliver Bjorkstrand had a goal and two assists, Brian Dumoulin had one of each and Jordan Eberle, Tye Kartye and Eeli Tolvanen also scored as the Kraken set a franchise record with their ninth consecutive victory and extended their point streak to 13 games (11-0-2). Goaltender Joey Daccord made 30 saves.

Balanced attack helps Pelicans top Mavericks

Rookie Jordan Hawkins scored 34 points and six teammates scored in double figures as the visiting New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Dallas Mavericks 118-108 on Saturday night. Herbert Jones scored 15 points, Jonas Valanciunas had 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists and Larry Nance Jr. and Jose Alvarado scored 14 points apiece. Naji Marshall had 13 points and Dyson Daniels chipped in with 10 for the Pelicans, who played without Brandon Ingram (Achilles), CJ McCollum (ankle) and Zion Williamson (rest).

NBA roundup: Thunder top Magic in battle of 2022 draft talent

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 37 points to lead the host Oklahoma City Thunder to a 112-100 win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday night. The game marked the first regular-season matchup between the Magic's Paolo Banchero and the Thunder's Chet Holmgren, the top two picks in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Devils end Panthers' nine-game winning streak

Backup goaltender Nico Daws made 36 saves in a stellar performance as the New Jersey Devils snapped Florida's nine-game winning streak, defeating the Panthers 4-1 on Saturday night in Sunrise, Fla. Daws, a 23-year-old native of Germany making just his 27th career start, improved to 3-1-0 this season.

Predators extend dominance over Islanders to 10 games

Alexandre Carrier was credited with the tie-breaking goal with 7.9 seconds left Saturday night for the host Nashville Predators, who rallied in the final five minutes to defeat the New York Islanders 3-1. Jean-Gabriel Pageau's goal with exactly eight minutes left snapped a scoreless tie for New York, but Luke Evangelista scored on the power play with 4:52 left. Then the Predators stunned the Islanders in the waning seconds to win their 10th straight game between the teams.

Jacob Markstrom, Flames top Golden Knights

Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves to help the visiting Calgary Flames beat the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 on Saturday for Calgary's third consecutive win. Blake Coleman and Mikael Backlund each had a goal and an assist and Nazem Kadri also scored for Calgary, which moved two points of Edmonton for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
