Rajasthan to Establish Dedicated Sports University for Youth Empowerment

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced plans to establish a sports university and develop hostels and facilities for sportspersons at district and divisional levels. Speaking at a pre-budget dialogue on youth empowerment, Sharma emphasized the importance of supporting young athletes and highlighted ongoing initiatives benefiting the youth.

In a significant move towards youth empowerment, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced on Thursday the establishment of a sports university in the state. The government will also develop dedicated hostels and sports facilities at the district and divisional levels.

Addressing a pre-budget dialogue with sportspersons, coaches, and youth entrepreneurs, Sharma highlighted the pivotal role of the youth in driving innovation, progress, and social change. He stressed the importance of providing opportunities in education, employment, and sports.

Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari and Youth Affairs Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also underscored the government's commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure and creating opportunities for young athletes. This initiative aims to boost the state's prestige and offer international-level training facilities.
