India's Tvesa Malik showcased exceptional skill at the Swiss Ladies Open, recording a first-round score of 5-under 66 to enter a play-off against England's Alice Hewson, who finished with 11-under.

In the play-off, Malik faced difficulties after her drive probably hit a tree branch, landing in a poor position on the fairway while Hewson seized the advantage.

Despite Malik's impressive birdie-birdie-eagle-birdie finish in the final round, Hewson's consistent brilliance on the last rounds secured her victory in the first extra hole.
