Crystal Palace Signs Daichi Kamada: A Reunification with Glasner

Crystal Palace have signed Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada from Lazio on a two-year deal. The 27-year-old joins on a free transfer after his contract with Lazio expired. Kamada reunites with manager Oliver Glasner, under whom he played at Eintracht Frankfurt. This marks Palace's second signing after Chadi Riad.

Crystal Palace have signed Japan midfielder Daichi Kamada from Lazio on a two-year deal, the Premier League club said on Monday. Kamada will join Palace on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Lazio after spending a season in Serie A.

The 27-year-old will be reunited with Palace manager Oliver Glasner, who he played under at Eintracht Frankfurt. "I'm excited to be joining Crystal Palace, and to be working with Oliver – who is a coach I know well – again," Kamada said in a statement.

"I am looking forward to testing myself in the Premier League, and hopefully the club and I can achieve all of our objectives together." Kamada will be the second signing at Selhurst Park after Morocco centre-back Chadi Riad.

Palace finished 10th last season.
