Pierceson Coody continued to dominate the ISCO Championship leaderboard for the third consecutive day, despite a slow start, finishing with a 4-under 68, giving him a one-stroke lead.
Coody, who began the day with even par on the front nine, surged ahead with an eagle on the par-5 11th and additional birdies on the par-5 15th and par-4 17th.
The 24-year-old golfer acknowledged the challenging front nine but remained optimistic. 'Every hole feels like you have a chance at birdie with one good shot,' said Coody. 'I just tried to stick with that mindset and luckily some good bounces and putts on the back nine helped.'
Coody's total now stands at 20-under 196 on Keene Trace's Champions Course. He aims for his first win in what marks his 27th PGA Tour start. Close behind, Harry Hall and Rico Hoey are tied for second.
