PCB Appoints Tony Hemming as New Chief Curator

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Australia's Tony Hemming as its chief curator on a two-year contract. With four decades of experience, Hemming is tasked with improving pitches for upcoming series and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This is the first long-term contract for a foreign curator by PCB.

In a strategic move to enhance the quality of cricket pitches in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Australia's Tony Hemming as its new chief curator on a two-year contract.

This marks the first time PCB has offered a long-term contract to a foreign curator, reflecting its commitment to high-quality pitch management. Hemming, a Western Australia native, brings four decades of experience, having worked with the ICC and managed prominent grounds in Melbourne, Perth, and Hobart, as well as tracks in Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Hemming's primary responsibilities include improving pitches for upcoming home series against Bangladesh, England, and the West Indies, as well as overseeing preparations for the domestic season and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9.
