Toyam Sports Limited (TSL), a leading Indian sports company listed on the BSE & MSEI, has announced the organization of the 'Kumite 1 Asian Championship' in Qatar this October. Precise details about the event's date and venue will be revealed soon. The company is negotiating with major international brands for sponsorships and discussing broadcasting rights with top OTT platforms and TV channels.
The Kumite 1 Asian Championship will be a groundbreaking event—the first-ever clash of four nations in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Asia, featuring teams from India, Pakistan, Qatar, and the UAE. TSL and its subsidiary Pacific Star Sports (PSS) have teamed up with Speed Summit Sports Events (SSSE), a prominent Qatari firm specializing in sports promotion, marketing, and event management, to bring this event to life.
Mr. Umar Badshah, Operations Head of SSSE and the Co-Organizer, expressed his excitement about the event, noting it signifies a landmark moment for Qatar as it showcases its capabilities in sports promotion on an international stage. TSL's Chairman, Mr. Mohamedali Budhwani, also highlighted the significance of hosting the event outside India as a milestone in the company's global expansion.
