In a thrilling display of dominance, India achieved a massive 78-run victory over UAE in the Women's Asia Cup T20 tournament. The triumph was largely driven by stellar half-centuries from skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh.
Invited to bat first, Kaur acted as the anchor, scoring a vital 66 off 47 balls, while Ghosh provided a late surge with an unbeaten 64 off just 29 balls. This epic partnership helped India post their first-ever 200-plus score in T20 Internationals, setting a target of 201 for five.
India's bowlers then showcased a clinical performance, restricting UAE to 123 for 7. Deepti Sharma led the bowling attack with figures of 2/23, effectively putting India on the path to the semifinals. With two wins from two games, India tops Group A and is set to play Nepal next.
