Indian shuttlers displayed stellar performances at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday. Lakshya Sen, making his Olympic debut, notched an impressive victory against Kevin Cordon of Guatemala with scores of 21-8, 22-20.

In men's doubles, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also delivered a remarkable performance. The duo secured a straight-game win against France's Lucas Corvee and Ronan Labar, prevailing 21-17, 21-14.

While the women's doubles pair Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto were defeated by South Koreans Kim So Yeong and Kong Hee Yong with scores of 18-21, 10-21, Sen and the men's doubles team are now eyeing their upcoming matches.
