Dhiraj Bommadevara, a key player, struggled throughout the match, giving Turkey the upper hand as they clinched a 6-2 victory. The scores read 53-57, 52-55, 55-54, and 54-58. On the women's side, India's archery team also faced disappointment, losing 6-0 to the Netherlands in the quarterfinals. Ankita Bhakat, Bhajan Kaur, and Deepika Kumari failed to find their rhythm. Day 3 of the Olympics provided a mix of emotions for India, with Lakshya Sen winning his match and the men's doubles team of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty progressing to the quarterfinals.

In shooting, Arjun Babuta narrowly missed out on a medal in the men's 10m air rifle final. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh made it to the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze medal match, while Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema were eliminated.
