India's star shuttler Lakshya Sen will aim for a bronze medal as he faces off against Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia in the men's singles competition at the ongoing Paris Olympics on Monday. Sen was defeated by reigning Olympic champion Victor Axelsen in the semifinals of the men's singles competition on Sunday, losing the match 20-22, 14-21.
Following this loss, Lakshya Sen will compete for a bronze medal against Lee Zii Jia at 6 PM IST. In shooting, Anant Jeet Singh and Maheshwari Chauhan will participate in the Skeet Mixed Team Qualification at 12:30 PM IST. If they advance, their final match will be at 6:30 PM IST.
Table tennis players Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Kamath will compete in the Round of 16 of the Women's Team event at 1:30 PM IST. Later, at 3:25 PM IST, athlete Kiran Pahal will participate in Round 1 of the Women's 400 Metre race.
