Bodoland FC emerged victorious in a seven-goal thriller against Border Security Force FT, keeping their hopes alive for knockout qualification in Group E of the Durand Cup at the SAI Stadium on Monday. A brace from Jwngbla Brahma alongside goals by Mitinga Dwimary and Sibra Narzary sealed the deal for the hosts, despite two goals from Kishori and another from Asif Khan for BSF FT.

Concluding their group stage, Bodoland finished second with six points, while BSF FT ended without any points, losing all three of their matches. Starting the game, Bodoland's coach Khlain Syiemlieh made one change, bringing in Jwngbla Brahma. On the other hand, BSF’s coach Gurjit Singh Atwal made three changes, including goalkeeper Harpreet Singh, Nilambar SA, and Gopal Hembrom.

The match started with a quick goal from Bodoland in the second minute, courtesy of Mitinga Dwimary from a Momocha Singh cross. Despite missing chances to double the lead, Bodoland remained dominant. BSF FT found their equalizer early in the second half through Kishori, who capitalized on a defensive error. Bodoland regained the lead with goals from Jwngbla Brahma and substitute Sibra Narzary. Although Kishori responded with another goal, Jwngbla Brahma's stunner extended the lead again. BSF's Asif Khan netted a late goal, but Bodoland held on for a crucial 4-3 victory.
