Wrestler Aman Sehrawat's primary focus during his Olympic bronze medal play-off bout was not to be overwhelmed by the significance of the event. He approached it as just another state-level competition.

The 21-year-old, India's youngest individual medallist at the Paris Olympics, shared insights into his mindset before the crucial match. 'First I thought, I am in the semi-final and I lost six points. Then it hit me that I’ve lost six points in an Olympic bout what should I do now? I told myself that it isn’t an Olympic bout and I’m still fighting at the state level,' Aman stated.

Reflecting on being India's youngest Olympic medallist, he expressed his goal of changing the medal's color in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
