Stunning fifties from Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya powered the South Delhi Superstarz to a thrilling three-wicket triumph over Purani Dilli 6 in the inaugural match of the Delhi Premier League T20 at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.

Purani Dilli 6, led by a solid 59 from Arpit Rana and a quickfire 47 from Vansh Bedi, posted a formidable 197/3 in their 20 overs. However, the South Delhi Superstarz were undeterred, racing to the target in 19.1 overs.

Paced by a blistering start, including 73 runs in the powerplay, opener Priyansh Arya and Sarthak Ray set the tone. Despite late wickets, including those of Arya (57 off 30) and skipper Badoni (57 off 29), the Superstarz reached the target with five balls to spare, thanks to crucial contributions from Vision Panchal and Digvesh Rathi.
