In a strategic move, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has scheduled a three-match home T20 series against the South Africa women's team ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup set to take place in the UAE next month.
The series is slated for September 16, 18, and 20 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, with the first two encounters to be played under floodlights. A senior PCB official emphasized the importance of this series, describing it as an opportunity for both teams to gain valuable exposure before the World Cup.
The South Africa squad will arrive in Pakistan on September 13 and depart for the UAE on September 21, while Pakistan will follow on September 23. Pakistan will compete in Group A alongside Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, whereas South Africa is placed in Group B with Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and the West Indies.
