In a display of unwavering commitment to their principles, Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma declared on Sunday that the team's newfound aggressive strategy in Test matches will not be altered despite a recent setback against New Zealand.
India displayed resilience by scoring 462 in their second innings after being bowled out for 46 in the first. 'We don't change our mindset based on one game or one series,' Sharma affirmed during the post-match news conference.
He highlighted recent performances against Bangladesh as a testament to this approach. Sharma also acknowledged the innovative tactics employed by visiting batsmen, especially against Indian spinners, citing Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway's efforts to adapt and challenge India's bowlers.
