The 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series captivated fans with high-scoring encounters on its seventh day in Division 2 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. Kicking things off was a special exhibition match held in conjunction with the 16th Isha Gramotsavam, featuring Delhi Dhurandhars against Karpagam Raiders in a spectacular locale, overshadowed by the iconic Adiyogi statue at the Isha Foundation. The contest ended with Karpagam Raiders besting Delhi Dhurandhars 36-22, according to a press release.

Celebrated as Bharat's largest rural sports festival, the Isha Gramotsavam spans over five states and one union territory, involving more than 43,000 players, including over 10,000 women, from 35,000 villages and featuring 4,858 teams. Special guests such as Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and cricket legend Virender Sehwag graced the occasion with their presence, the release further detailed. The Sunday slate of matches saw the Chandigarh Chargers dominate the Sindh Sonics with a decisive 56-26 win, boosted by Dinesh's 17 raid points and Lakshay's stellar defense that achieved a High 5. Sindh Sonics' Dheeraj managed a High 5 but found little support from his team.

The day's second clash witnessed Chola Veerans overpowering a winless Panchala Pride 62-18, driven by Raider Iyyappan Veerapandian's Super 10 and cohesive team effort. In contrast, Panchala's Ghanshyam Das also recorded a Super 10 but was let down by the absence of teamwork. Excitement peaked in the third match as Hampi Heroes and Vizag Victors concluded in a dramatic 36-36 draw. Hampi's defense was fortified by Akash Mohan's eight tackle points, while Vizag's Gali Lakshma Reddy thrilled with nine raid points, securing the deadlock.

Concluding the day's spectacle, UP Falcons dominated the Hyderabad Hurricanes 44-21, thanks to Anand Yadav's inspired performance off the bench, delivering a Super 10. Despite Suresh Oruganti's efforts as top scorer with only six raid points, Hyderabad Hurricanes struggled throughout the match, according to ANI reports.
