Rain Washes Out Pakistan-Bangladesh Champions Trophy Clash

The Champions Trophy match between Pakistan and Bangladesh was abandoned due to rain, ending Pakistan's fruitless campaign in their first home ICC tournament in 29 years. Both teams shared a point, with Pakistan facing criticism after a winless run, including a loss to India.

The much-anticipated Champions Trophy clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh was thwarted by relentless rain, ensuring the match concluded without a single ball bowled.

Pakistan, hosting an ICC tournament for the first time in nearly three decades, ended their lackluster campaign without recording a victory. Bangladesh also returned home winless, leaving both teams to contemplate their performance.

This marks the second rain-induced washout in Rawalpindi this week, following the no-game outcome of the South Africa versus Australia match.
