Argentina made history by defeating the British and Irish Lions 28-24 at Aviva Stadium on Friday. This landmark victory is the first ever for the Pumas over the Lions and left coach Andy Farrell facing tough decisions as the squad gears up for their Australian tour.
Despite missing half of their players due to commitments and injuries, the Lions managed to claw back in the second half. A penalty try and Tadhg Beirne's score briefly put them ahead. However, Argentina responded decisively with Santiago Carreras' dazzling try.
The British and Irish Lions now have five more warm-up games in Australia to rectify their performance before the anticipated first test against the Wallabies scheduled for July 19.
