Status reports indicate Rs 2.5 crore is earmarked for the programme to deliver basic coaching to children aged 8 to 15, aiming to groom them for future competitions, including the 2036 Olympics. Sports Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar also graced the occasion, underscoring sports' potential to foster unity among diverse communities.
