Manchester United have bolstered their attack with the acquisition of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, signing him until 2030. The club paid £65 million, with a potential £6 million in add-ons for the Cameroon international.
Mbeumo impressed in the previous season by scoring 20 goals, playing a key role in Brentford's strong league finish. Only Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak, and Erling Haaland scored more goals during that period.
Expressing enthusiasm about joining the club, Mbeumo said, 'I couldn't pass up the chance to play for Manchester United, the team I've always dreamed of.'
