England Fights Back Against India in Fluctuating Oval Test

On the third day of the final test match at The Oval, England claimed three pivotal wickets during the afternoon session, with India advancing to a score of 304-6, undeterred by the overcast conditions.
Although India extended its lead to 281 runs, maintaining a favorable position to tie the series, England showed resilience after a tough morning. Gus Atkinson trapped India captain Shubman Gill lbw for 11 immediately after lunch, a decision Gill unsuccessfully contested on review.
Despite some missed catching opportunities, including a drop by Harry Brook, Yashasvi Jaiswal's composed century bolstered India's innings. England, however, replied with vital dismissals, maintaining hope as the match progressed under floodlights.
