Mumbai Muscle set a formidable pace on the opening day of the Pro Panja League Season 2, firmly establishing themselves at the pinnacle of the rankings. The action-packed day unfolded on August 5 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports, showcasing a thrilling display of arm wrestling prowess. Mumbai Muscle now leads the scoreboard, with Kiraak Hyderabad and Sher E Ludhiana trailing in second and third places respectively, as MP Hathodas takes up the rear.

The undercard of the first fixture proved exhilarating as Mumbai Muscle clashed with MP Hathodas. Ashish Mehta faced Akash Handique in the 60kg category, with the latter narrowly clinching a 2-1 victory. The 80kg category saw Vethozo Lohe overpower Ishan Kashyap with a decisive 2-0 win. Meanwhile, a close 2-1 match in the 70kg category rewarded Raymond with a victory against Muzahid Shaikh. The second undercard between Kiraak Hyderabad and Sher E Ludhiana featured Amit Singh defeating Shivam Rajput 2-0 in the heavyweight 100kg division. Kiraak Hyderabad's Naveen MV triumphed over Adarsh MM 2-0 in the 60kg category, while Sher E Ludhiana's Senebi struck back by overcoming Savita Kumari 2-0 in the 55kg category.

The main card heightened the competitive intensity. In a spectacular show, Mumbai Muscle's Kyle Cummings overwhelmed Rino Thomas with a commanding 10-0 victory. Jogendra Yadav maintained the team's momentum, securing a 5-0 win against Tridip Medhi. Rajendra Mahor faced Niranjan Singh in a gripping contest. Meanwhile, in Kiraak Hyderabad versus Sher E Ludhiana, Stewe Thomas dominated Sivajith Janardhan 5-0. Madhura KN showcased superior technique against Manorama Bisht, winning 10-0. In the evening's final bout, Mohan Sharma concluded with a 10-0 victory over Devendra Yadav.
